Marst Agri were kindly invited to visit the Merlo HQ recently, we also took 4 of our customers along for the trip so they could see first hand how Merlo Telehandlers are made. Our trip included a very early start from Suffolk and then a breakfast time flight over to Turin. Then a quick coach journey to HQ where we were given a very warm welcome and a beautiful lunch at the local restaurant. Check in at the Hotel awaited so off we went for a coach ride into the beautiful city of Cuneo. It really is a stunning city connected across high bridges and set around typical Italian Town Squares. Then Dinner and bed before another early start back to the Factory the following Day. We were then treated to Factory Tour and Merlo Roto Experience together with the chance to operate Merlo Machinery and try our hand at the pin and cone challenge. The afternoon saw us travel to Turin to visit the Musea Nazionale dell’Automobile where we were given a guided tour and got to see the Ayrton Senna Exhibition too. Dinner again that evening and then home on an early flight on the Friday. The Marst Agri group all agreed this was a fantastic trip and we loved every second.
